Delegates from Izon Science visit University of Hyderabad

A two-member delegation led by Professor Hans Van der Voorn, Executive Chairman, Izon Science, based in New Zealand visited the University of Hyderabad (UoH) on May 21, 2013. The delegation visited the Centre for Nanotechnolgy and held discussions later with Dr. Chakravarthy Bhagvati, Director-International Affairs; Prof. A R Reddy, Department of Plant Sciences; Prof. N Siva Kumar, Department of Bio-Chemistry and Dr. V Geeta, Dean, School of Medical Sciences on possible areas of collaboration. Dr. Subhash Bhargava also associated with Izon Science based in USA accompanied Prof. Van der Voorn.

Izon Science has evinced keen interest in the University’s Nanotechnology programme. Izon Science designs and manufactures precision instrumentation for nano- and micro-scale particle analysis. The instrument systems, the qNano and qViro-X, are now in use in a wide range of research institutes and universities around the world.
