Three research scholars including two alumni – Dr. Shareef Ahmad (No.11), Dr. Nagma Parveen (No.12) and Mr. Imran Ahmad (No.43) of the University of Hyderabad have come out with flying colours in the examination consisting of written and interview for the post of Assistant Professor- Urdu in the District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), Prayagraj. The results have been declared on 13 December, 2019.

Dr. Shareef Ahmad

Dr Shareef Ahmad did his M. Phil and Ph. D in Urdu from the Department of Urdu, University of Hyderabad. He hails from the district Ambedkar Nagar, U.P.  His topic of Ph. D was “Uttar Pradesh Mein Urdu Afsana Nigari” which he completed in the year 2016 and got the degree awarded in the same year under the supervision of Dr Md. Zahidul Haque, Associate Professor in the Department of Urdu.

Dr. Nagma Parveen

Dr Nagma Parveen did her M. Phil and Ph. D in Urdu from the Department of Urdu, University of Hyderabad. She belongs to the district Mau, U.P. Her topic of Ph. D was “Mirza Hamid Baig : Fikr o Funn”. She submitted the thesis in 2019 and got degree in the same year under the supervision of Dr Md. Zahidul Haque.

Mr. Imran Ahmad

Mr. Imran Ahmad did his M. Phil from the Department of Urdu, University of Hyderabad in the year 2013 under the supervision of Dr Md. Zahidul Haque. He comes from the district Balrampur, U.P. He has submitted the Ph. D thesis entitled “Tanveer Ahmad Alvi : Hayat o Khidmat” in the month of November 2019 to the university under the same supervisor and waiting for the viva voce.
